Both models can be configured as a 1-way to 2-way symmetric multiprocessing (SMP)system; each can have up to 8 hot-swapable disk drives and 6 hot-swappable PCI adapters. Both modelssupport redundant hot-swappable power supplies and cooling fans.Power is provided through AC power cords. Either model can be set up to use 100-127V ac or 200-240Vac power.The two media slimline bays can be used to accommodate any of the following drives:v IDE DVD-ROM drivev IDE CD-ROM drivev Diskette drive (special mounting carriage needed)Another full height (1-inch) media bay supports a SCSI tape drive or DVD-RAM drive.1
