Also, Linuxdoes not support hot-swapping any hot-pluggable PCI adapters. A system with Linux installed must beshut down and powered off before installing any PCI adapter. Use the non-hot-pluggable adapterprocedures when replacing a PCI adapter with the Linux operating system installed.Note: This system supports PCI hot-pluggable adapters, so the system does not need to be shut downand the power cables removed before adding or replacing an adapter.To install an adapter, do the following:1.
