Permitting use of optional unified messaging components 41• Permit mailbox class members to use keycoded features:— To receive and print faxes if the CallPilot system is equipped withfax capability, and mailbox class members require fax-capablemailboxes.— To speak CallPilot telephone commands if the system is equippedwith speech activated messaging and the permission justifies theextra resources required.— To use a personal computer to access and manage messagesif there are enough Desktop Messaging licenses to give thepermissions.— To listen to e-mail messages over a telephone if the Email-by-Phonefeature is installed and mailbox owners must screen e-mailmessages at any given time.— To set desktop and Web messaging configuration options, if themailbox class has this keycoded feature.• Set remote notification privileges for mailbox class members if mailboxclass members must configure home phones, cell phones, or pagers toautomatically receive message notifications.• Control telecom charges by specifying the dialing permissions andrestrictions for each feature enabled for mailbox class members.ATTENTIONAll supplied restriction permission lists (RPL) prevent off-switch dialing. Theymust be customized before you apply them.All supplied mailbox classes have features assigned to the Local RPL.
