If your business subscribes tothis service, you can view the name, number, or both, of anexternal caller unless the caller has blocked the information.Lines in your Compact Plus system may appear at more than oneextension. However, only one extension can receive CallInformation automatically for an incoming call. You programmewhich Norstar/BST extension will automatically receive CallInformation. If Call Information is not delivered automatically toyour extension and your company subscribes to the service, youcan view Call Information using ≤°⁄⁄ (the CallInformation feature code).ISDN terminals receive Call Information automatically ifsupported by the terminal. Not all calls on ISDN lines necessarilyprovide Call Information because of the way the call is routed, orbecause the information was lost or corrupted. Call Informationgives you information about your active call or the highestpriority ringing call.Call Information is more detailed than the Call Displayinformation you can receive without subscribing to CallInformation. For external calls, you can display the caller’stelephone number, line name, or a combination of these items.For an internal call, it is possible to display the caller’s name andtheir extension number. It is also possible to display informationfor ringing, answered, or held calls. Call Information displayseven if the call has been transferred, forwarded, or re-routed insome way.Call Log displays the same information as Call Information,along with the date and time of the call, and the number of timesthe caller called.Note: You may continue to press line keys to get information onother calls. If you press the same line key twice, you areconnected to that call. If you press any other key includingkeys used to show more information about a call, you exitthe Call Information feature, and the key you pressedperforms its normal function.
