108 Part F: Configuring Channels © Tait Electronics Limited December 2007Editing a Channel ProfileThe Edit Channel Profile dialog box lets you view the details of the selectedchannel profile and modify them.Next Profile and Previous Profile let you move from one profile to anotherwithout leaving the dialog box.Important: If you have made changes to the current profile, clickOK to confirm them before moving to another profile.Some items in the Default channel profile display ‘See channeltable.’ You specify them individually for each channel in the channel table(Configure > Base Station > Channel Table).GeneralThe General tab in the Add or Edit Channel Profile dialog box names thechannel profile and defines its general characteristics.Profile name Specifies the name of the profile. You can edit the name of custom profiles.RF ConfigurationIn the Add or Edit Channel Profile dialog, General tab, the RF configurationarea lets you specify the nominal channel spacing for the receiver and thetransmitter. No hardware modification is necessary when the RF configurationis changed.Note: Your country may use Narrow band, Mid band and Wideband to refer to different channel spacings. Make sure that theoption you select has the correct value.
