You can enableand configure RSSI and/or SINAD gating. These, together with subaudiblesignaling, are inputs into the mute/unmute decision. These inputs can becombined in different ways using Boolean logic (AND or OR). Red lines anddrop-down list boxes show how they are currently combined.RSSI gating operates more quickly and is suitable for multiple repeater links orfor base stations with external data modems. SINAD gating takes longer but ismore immune to noise interference and is suitable for the repeater itself or fora line-connected base station.
