TB8100 Service Kit User’s Manual Logging Off and Disconnecting 55Modifying Access ProfilesThose with Administrator access can configure the access profiles of those witha ‘User’ access level. One access profile is for local (direct) connections, theother for remote (dial-up) connections. You could for example allow theseusers to carry out diagnostic tests but only to view the base station’sconfiguration.To modify an access profile1. Log on to the base station as ‘Administrator.’2. Select Base Station > Access Profiles. The Service Kit reads access profileinformation from the base station and displays it in the Access Profiles dialogbox.3. Make changes to any settings in either tab.4. Click OK to program your changes into the base station and close the dialogbox.Logging Off and DisconnectingWhen you have finished working with a base station, click Disconnect to logoff and disconnect from the base station.If the base station is in Standby or Download mode, you are reminded of thisand asked to confirm that you want to proceed. This is to make sure that youdo not inadvertently leave the base station out of service when you end aService Kit session. Select No to cancel disconnecting, and then change the basestation’s mode back to Run before disconnecting.
