Section 1 Introduction1.1 This manualThe technical manual contains application and functionality descriptions and listsfunction blocks, logic diagrams, input and output signals, setting parameters andtechnical data sorted per function. The manual can be used as a technical referenceduring the engineering phase, installation and commissioning phase, and duringnormal service.1.2 Intended audienceThis manual addresses system engineers and installation and commissioningpersonnel, who use technical data during engineering, installation andcommissioning, and in normal service.The system engineer must have a thorough knowledge of protection systems,protection equipment, protection functions and the configured functional logic inthe IEDs.
