7-24 FRX8000 3.0 User Guide, Rev 02Telephone Number ParametersExplanations of some of the parameters follow the table.Modem Pool IDis specified in the Modem Initialization file. (See page 7-10.)Line Speed Codeis the data transmission rate, in bits per second. This parameter is also specified in Portrecords, and the value in the Telephone Number record must match that on any portsthrough which the subscriber will call the node. Line speed codes are:3 = 75 4 = 150 5 = 300 6 = 600 8 = 24009 = 4800 10 = 9600 11 = 19.2K 12 = 48K 13 = 56K14 = 64K 15 = 72K 16 = 112K 17 = 128K 18 = 224K19 = 256KAlternate Node 1–6Alternate nodes handle call routing if the primary node is inoperative. For an outgoingcall, if the primary node is not available, the list is searched, and the call is routed tothe first available node. When the call is successfully placed, the database record isautomatically changed to replace the existing Node ID with the ID of the node throughwhich the call was connected. For an incoming call, if the primary node is not available, the subscriber calls anothernode, and that node becomes the new primary node in the Telephone Number record. It is recommended that when a Telephone Number record is created, Alternate Node 1be the same as Node ID. This way, if the primary node goes down, is replaced, thencomes back up, it will be the first alternate if the new primary goes down.Table 7-6 Telephone Number ParametersParameter Valid Values Default ValueModem Pool ID 0–255 0Line Speed Code 3–19 10Alternate Node 1–6 1–250 noneFacilities InformationPr eferential CUG Flag Y/N NPr eferential CUG Index 0–99 0Incoming Access Allowed Y/N NOutgoing Access Allowed Y/N NLocal Charging Prevention Y/N NReverse Charge Acceptance Y/N NFast Select Acceptance Y/N NIncoming Calls Bar red Y/N NOutgoing Calls Bar red Y/N N
