This allows communication between the attached devices assoon as they are powered up, without having to first make a call to establish a con-nection.FRX8000 Switch supports async-to-async, as well as async-to-X.25, PVCs. (N7400and 7500 do not support async PVCs.)To add or change a PVC, press [C], then [C] again from the Connections and RoutingPaths Selection Menu (or [A], [F], [C], [C] from the Main Menu). When prompted,enter:l Connection ID: 0–9999, which is simply a number unique to this connection.l Any other requested information, referring to Table 13-5.Figure 13-5 Async-to-X.25 PVC Record Example[A],[F],[C],[C] from Main MenuThe parameters for an async-to-async PVC are the same as shown above,with the exception of PVC Type .When Changes Take EffectWhen you add a new PVC record, the change will be written to the database as soonas you enter the final parameter value.
