Configuring Inter-Nodal Trunks 7-5When Changes Take Effect at the PortWhen you add a new Port record, it will be written to the database as soon as you enterthe final parameter value. When you modify a parameter in an existing record, thechange will be written to the database immediately.The change will become effective at the port in one of the following ways:l Press [F7] while still in Maintenance operations on the record. This willtemporarily disable the port, then write the change to the software running in thenode.l Re-IPL the node containing the changed port.Trunk Port ParametersTable 7-1 lists the parameters for all trunk types.
