Chapter 1414-17- Print out the user mode/service mode data.- If you are replacing the main controller PCB, be sure to physically transferthe following from the existing to the new PCB:[1] BootROM[2] HDD[3] image memory (DDR-SDRAM)[4] counter memory PCBF-14-33MEMO: Image memory (DDR-SDRAM)The machine is equipped with the following image memory:capacity: 1 GBquantity: 1 pc.Use one of the 2 slots. There is no optional memory for expansion.1) Turn on the power. If there is a backup of the SRAM data (i.e., if down-loaded using the SST), upload it.2) Execute the following service mode item:COPIER > FUNCTION > CLEAR > CA-KEY (Level 2)3) Turn off and then on the power.MEMO:Execution of the following may delete the keys/certificates used for encrypt-ed communications and the CA certificates used for authentication of exter-nal server certificates:- replacement/formatting of the HDD- replacement of the main controller PCB/initialization of the RAMIf a key/certificate for encrypted communications has been deleted, the con-trol panel screen will indicate a message to the effect that the key has beencorrupted: however, the key/certificate/CA certificate installed at time ofshipment from the factory may bebrought back by executing the following: COPIER>FUNC-TION>CLEAR>CA-KEY. If doing so has failed, use the SST to install thekey/certificate/CA certificate, and execute CA-KEY once again.Points to Note When Executing Service Mode Item CA-KEYIf the user has generated/added a key/certificate/CA certificate on his/herown, executing CA-KEY will also delete these files. Inform the user of this, and ask him/her to re-install them as necessary after the execution of CA-KEY.Points to Note When Fitting the Security Expansion BoardWhenever possible, do not replace the main controller PCB as part of thetroubleshooting work conducted in relation to the installation of the securityexpansion board (option). The machine checks the compatibility between the HDD and the main con-troller PCB when a security expansion board is installed. Replacement witha new board will cause the formatting of the HDD to start automatically, thusdeleting all user data.T-14-4*1: limited to those settings that may be exported using a remote UI or trans-mitted as part of machine information.*2: limited to when the MEAP application in question offers a backup func-tion.*3: limited to data within the User Box.When Replacing the Main Controller PCB- Explain to the user that all user data will be deleted.- As necessary, ask the user to make a backup of those data items that permitmaking of a backup.- Explain to the user that the following data items do not permit making of abackup, and require remedial action:- for mode settings stored using the copy/Box function, ask the user to newlyenter the settings.- for read mode settings stored using the transmission function, ask the userto newly enter the settings.- for files that are yet to be transmitted (i.e., files for selected timer transmis-sion or reserved for transmission), ask the user to newly transmit them.- for registered forms used in image synthesis, ask the user to newly enterthem.- for MEAP applications, ask the user to newly install them.- for MEAP SMS (service management services) passwords, access the fol-lowing: http://:8000/SMS. (Use the factory password"MeapSmsLogin" (case-sensitive) to log in and change the password.- for job histories, if a record is needed, ask the user to store away the historyusing a remote UI. (However, there is no way ofreturning the history to the HDD.)- for key pairs and server certificates, if the user has added any, ask for re-installation.14.7.3 After Replacing the DC Controller PCB 0010-9329iR7105 / iR7095 / iR7086Before starting the work and checking- Be sure to print out the user mode/service mode data before replacing theDC controller PCB.- Be sure to adjust the on/off timing of the clutch in service mode (COPIER> FUNCTION > MISC-P > CL-ADJ) after replacing the DC controllerPCB. Before adjusting, be sure to place two or more sheets of A4 or LTRin the following pick-up slots, otherwise you can't perform the adjust-ment.- Left deck- Cassette 4- Paper deck (accessory)Points to note when turning the power off (Executing the shutdownsequence)Be sure to turn off the main power after executing the shutdown sequence toprotect the hard disk.Points to note when turning the power on (When Delivery accessoryis mounted)When any delivery accessory (Finisher, Stacker, and/or Perfect binder) isData item deleted Backuppossibilityaddress data registered in the address book Yessettings made in user mode Yes *1settings stored in memory Yeslicense file for MEAP application Yesuser authentication information stored using SDL(simple device login)Yes[1][2][3][4]data stored using MEAP application Yes *2mode memory stored using copy function or BoxfunctionNodata in Box Yes *3read mode settings stored using transmission function Nofiles yet to be read (those selected for timertransmission or reserved for transmission)Noforms stored for image synthesis NoMEAP application Nopassword for MEAP SMS (service managementservices); returns to factory defaultNojob history information Nouser authentication information stored in relation toSSO (local device authentication)Yeskey pairs and server certificates stored in conjunctionwith system control settingsNoData item deleted Backuppossibility
