Running the diagnostictests can isolate the appliance server component that failed, but you musthave your system serviced. If the error message remains, call for service.Ensure that:• Nothing is resting on the keyboard and pressing the key.• No key is struck.• The keyboard cable is connected correctly to the keyboard and to thecorrect connector on the serve.Note: If you just connected a new mouse or other pointing device, turn offthe appliance server and disconnect that device. Wait at least 5seconds; then, turn on the appliance server. If the error message goesaway, replace the device.Running the diagnostic tests can isolate the appliance server componentthat failed, but you must have your system serviced. Ensure that the monitor is connected to the applianceserver. If the problem persists, replace the monitor.Two long and two short beepsPOST does not support the optional video adapter. This beep combinationoccurs when you install a video adapter that is incompatible with yourappliance server. Replace the optional video adapter with one that theappliance server supports, or use the integrated video controller.POST beep codesThis section contains the POST beep codes for your appliance server. Your servermight omit beep codes that are described in the following table. For example, a 1-2-3beep code is one beep, a pause, two consecutive beeps, another pause, and thenthree more consecutive beeps.
