Configuring your xSeries 130 appliance server 29The following table provides a summary of the password features.Wake on LANA network administrator can use the Wake on LAN feature to turn on the xSeries 130appliance server from a remote location. When Wake on LAN is used with network-management software, many types of functions, such as data transfers, softwareupdates, and POST or BIOS updates to your appliance server can be initiatedremotely.Note: If the appliance server power cord is plugged into a surge protector or powerstrip, make sure that when you turn off power you use the appliance serverpower switch and not the surge protector power strip switch.
