Turn off the appliance server and disconnect all external cables and power cords.3. Remove the cover according to “Removing the cover” on page 56.4. Remove the expansion-slot clip that holds the expansion-slot cover in place bysliding it upward and off the frame of the appliance server.5. Remove the expansion-slot cover.6. See the documentation that comes with your adapter for any cabling instructions.Note: Route internal adapter cables before you install the adapter.7. Set any jumpers or switches as described by the adapter manufacturer.
