8.6 Convenient Function to Use during Trial Operation8.6.3 Test without a Motor8-218 Trial Operation and Actual Operation8.6.3 Test without a MotorA test without a motor is used to check the operation of the host controller and peripheraldevices by simulating the operation of the Servomotor in the SERVOPACK, i.e., without actuallyoperating a Servomotor. This test allows you to check wiring, debug the system, and verifyparameters to shorten the time required for setup work and to prevent damage to the machinethat may result from possible malfunctions. The operation of the motor can be checked withthis test regardless of whether the motor is actually connected or not.Use Pn00C = n.X to enable or disable the test without a motor.Motor Information and Encoder InformationThe motor and encoder information is used during tests without a motor. The source of theinformation depends on the device connection status.• Rotary ServomotorIf you use fully-closed loop control, the external encoder information is also used.Parameter Meaning When Enabled ClassificationPn00C(200Ch)n.0(default setting) Disable tests without a motor.
