Remove:• Fuel hose (primary injector joint side andsecondary injector joint side)WARNINGEWA14B1001Cover fuel hose connections with a clothwhen disconnecting them. Residual pres-sure in the fuel lines could cause fuel tospurt out when removing the hoses.ECA14B1003Be sure to disconnect the fuel hose byhand. Do not forcefully disconnect the hosewith tools.TIP• To remove the fuel hose from the secondaryinjector joint, slide the fuel hose connectorcover “1” on the end of the hose in the direc-tion of the arrow shown, press the two but-tons “2” on the sides of the connector, andthen remove the hose.• Before removing the hose, place a few ragsin the area under where it will be removed.EAS14B1106REMOVING THE SECONDARY INJECTORSWARNINGEWA14B1027• Check the injectors in a well-ventilatedarea free of combustible materials. Makesure that there is no smoking or use ofelectric tools in the vicinity of the injec-tors.• Be careful when disconnecting the fuelhoses. Any remaining pressure in the fuelhoses may cause the fuel to spray out.Place a container or rag under the hosesto catch any fuel that spills. Always cleanup any spilt fuel immediately.• Turn the main switch to “OFF” and dis-connect the negative battery lead fromthe battery terminal before checking theinjectors.1.
