Error handlingDepending on the error that occurs during the command sequence, the error signal willbe set with a value. Table 195 describes vendor specific cause values in addition tothese specified in IEC 61850-8-1 standard. The list of values of the “cause” are inorder of priority. The values are available over the IEC 61850. An output L_CAUSEon the function block indicates the latest value of the error during the command.Table 195:Values for "cause" signal in priority orderApparatus controlfunctionDescription–22 wrongCTLModel–23 blockedForCommand–24 blocked-for-open-command–25 blocked-for-close-command–30 longOperationTime–31 switch-not-start-moving–32 persistent-intermediate-state–33 switch-returned-to-initial-position–34 switch-in-bad-state–35 not-expected-final-position10.3.9.2 Circuit breaker SXCBRThe users of the Circuit breaker function (SXCBR) is other functions such as forexample, switch controller, protection functions, autorecloser function or an IEC61850 client residing in another IED or the operator place. This switch functionexecutes commands, evaluates block conditions and evaluates different timesupervision conditions. Only if all conditions indicate a switch operation to beallowed, the function performs the execution command. In case of erroneousconditions, the function indicates an appropriate "cause" value.SXCBR has an operation counter for closing and opening commands. The countervalue can be read remotely from the operator place. The value is reset from a binaryinput or remotely from the operator place by configuring a signal from the Single PointGeneric Control 8 signals (SPC8GGIO) for example.Local/Remote switchOne binary input signal LR_SWI is included in SXCBR to indicate the local/remoteswitch position from switchyard provided via the I/O board. If this signal is set toTRUE it means that change of position is allowed only from switchyard level. If thesignal is set to FALSE it means that command from IED or higher level is permitted. When the signal is set to TRUE all commands (for change of position) from internalIED clients are rejected, even trip commands from protection functions are rejected. The functionality of the local/remote switch is described in figure 120.Section 10 1MRK 511 287-UEN AControl252Technical manual
