LIGHTS FLASH AT LOCKThis feature allows the exterior lamps to flashonce when the keyless access transmitter is usedto lock the vehicle. All doors must be closed forthis feature to work, and the lamps will not flash ifthe parking lamps or headlamps are on.If LIGHTS FLASH AT LOCK is turned on andeither KEYLESS FT DOOR UNLOCK or KEYLESSDOORS UNLOCK is turned on, the exteriorlamps will flash when the doors are passivelyunlocked. See “KEYLESS FT (Front) DOORUNLOCK” and “KEYLESS DOORS UNLOCK” laterin this section for more information.Programmable ModesMode 1: ONMode 2: OFFBefore your vehicle was shipped from the factory,it was programmed to Mode 1. The mode towhich the vehicle was programmed may havebeen changed since it left the factory.To program the vehicle to a different mode, usethe following procedure:1. Enter the PERSONAL SETTINGS MENU byfollowing the instructions listed previouslyunder “Entering the Personal Settings Menu.”2. Turn the tune/select knob until LIGHTSFLASH AT LOCK is highlighted.3. Press the tune/select knob to switch back andforth between on and off.When the mode is turned on, a check markwill appear next to the feature name.You can select this feature by itself, or you cancombine it with Horn Chirps At Lock so thatboth the exterior lamps flash and the horn chirpswhen you lock your vehicle.The mode you selected is now set. You can eitherexit the programming mode by following theinstructions later in this section or program thenext feature available on your vehicle.158
