Playing an MP3 CD-R DiscThe vehicle’s radio system could have the MP3feature. If it has this feature, it is capable of playingan MP3 CD-R disc. For more information on howto play an MP3 CD-R disc, see Using an MP3on page 297 later in this section.CD MessagesIf the CD comes out, it could be for one of thefollowing reasons:• If it is very hot. When the temperature returnsto normal, the CD should play.• If you are driving on a very rough road.When the road becomes smoother, theCD should play.• The CD is dirty, scratched, wet, orupside down.• The air is very humid. If so, wait about an hourand try again.• The format of the CD might not be compatible.See Using an MP3 on page 297 later in thissection.• There could have been a problem while burningthe CD.• The label could be caught in the CD player.If the CD is not playing correctly, for any otherreason, try a known good CD.If any error occurs repeatedly or if an error cannotbe corrected, contact your dealer. If the radiodisplays an error message, write it down andprovide it to your dealer when reporting theproblem.Configurable Radio Display KeysThe four keys, located on each side of the radiodisplay, can be configured to make it easierto adjust the radio features and other non-radiorelated features can also be customized.To program the configurable radio display keys,perform the following steps:1. Press the tune/select knob to enter themain menu.2. Turn the tune/select knob untilSETUP displays.3. Press the tune/select knob to enter intoSETUP.4. Turn the tune/select knob until CONFIGUREDISPLAY KEYS displays.296
