From the inside, use the power door lock switcheslocated on each front door. See Power DoorLocks on page 99 for more information. The rearpassenger doors have manual door lock knobslocated at the top of the door panel near thewindow. Push down the knob to lock the door.Pull up the knob to unlock the door.Power Door LocksThe power door lock switches are located on thearmrest on the front doors.K(Unlock): Press the side of the switch with theunlock symbol to unlock the doors.Q(Lock): Press the side of the switch with thelock symbol to lock the doors.Programmable Automatic DoorLocksYour vehicle was programmed from the factory sothat when the doors are closed, the ignition ison and the shift lever is moved out of PARK (P),all the doors will lock.The front doors can still be opened from the insidewhile the doors are locked. If a rear passengerneeds to exit the vehicle, have that person use themanual knob or use the power door lock switch oneither front door. When the door is closed again, itwill not lock automatically. Use the manual knob orthe power door lock switch to lock the door.The doors were also programmed from the factoryto unlock every time the shift lever is movedback into PARK (P).The power door locks can be programmedthrough the radio display.
