Raise or lower the lever until the arrow starts toflash to signal a lane change. Hold it there until thelane change is complete. The lever returns to itsoriginal position when it is released.Rapid flashing of arrows when signaling for a turnor lane change may be caused by a burned-outsignal bulb. Other driver’s will not see the signal.Replace burned-out bulbs to help avoid possibleaccidents. Check the fuse and for burned-out bulbsif the arrow fails to work when signaling a turn.See Fuses and Circuit Breakers on page 487 formore information.Turn Signal On ChimeIf the turn signal is left on for about 1 mile (1.6 km),a warning chime will sound and the TURNSIGNAL ON message will appear on the DriverInformation Center (DIC) display. Pull the lever back and then release itto change from high to low beam.If you turn the vehicle off with the high beams on,the next time you start your vehicle the lowbeams will be on.To re-activate high beams, pull lever toward youand then push it forward again.This light on theinstrument panel clusterwill be on, indicatinghigh-beam usage.183
