127 . . .–Section 1Air Quality Sensor (If equipped)If your vehicle is equipped with anair quality sensor, the climatecontrol system adjusts to limitsome exhaust fumes from beingpulled inside your vehicle.Press the AUTO button on theclimate control system to activatethe air quality sensor.While the sensor detects poor airquality, the recirculation indicatorlight will come on.If the recirculation feature is usedfor a long period of time, the air inthe vehicle may become too dry.To avoid this, the sensor maycancel recirculation even though itstill detects poor air quality.Under certain conditions, thesensor may not activate therecirculation mode, such as duringcold weather or with odors, likeskunk.To limit odors manually, pressto recirculate the air inside yourvehicle.The air quality sensor does notdetect organic odors or manychemical-related odors.
