Starting and Operating Instructions. . . 274If you do not transition the vehicleto normal vehicle operation duringthe engine runtime provided(up to two remote-starts with amaximum of 20 minutes ofremote-start engine runtime),the engine will turn off. If thishappens, the vehicle can only bestarted by turning the ignition toON (on).To end remote-start engineruntime without transitioning tonormal vehicle operation, do anyof the following:• Aim the transmitter at thevehicle and press theremote-start button until theparking lights turn off.Your transmitter’s rangemay be less while the vehicle isrunning.• Turn on the hazard warningflashers.• Turn the ignition on, and thenoff.Do not use the remote-startfeature if your vehicle is low onfuel.The vehicle could run out of fuel.NOTE:Laws in some regionsmay restrict the use of remote-starters.Check local and nationalregulations for any require-ments.$10araCTS Page 274 Tuesday, September 15, 2009 12:30 PM
