FRONT BRAKE4-384. Measure:• Brake pad wear limit “a”Out of specification → Replace the brakepads as a set.5. Install:• Brake pads• Brake pad springsTIPAlways install new brake pads and a newbrake pad spring as a set.▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼a. Connect a clear plastic hose “1” tightly tothe bleed screw “2”. Put the other end ofthe hose into an open container.b. Loosen the bleed screw and push thebrake caliper pistons into the brake caliperwith your finger.c. Tighten the bleed screw.d. Install new brake pads and a new brakepad springs.TIPThe arrow mark “a” on the brake pad springsmust point in the direction of disc rotation.▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲6.
