The ATR input andoutput signals are extracted from the Trip Unit PlugJ4 through the External Harness as shown inFigure 12-9. The Breaker External Harness plugsto the Cell Harness Assembly, which includesprovisions for external wiring connections asshown in Figure 6-1 . Figure 10-8 shows typicalATR 120 VAC source input and dry contact alarmoutput connections for remote alarm indication.10.5 Communications and PowerNetRMS 810 & 910 Retrofit Kits include communica-tions capability when Used with Cutler-Hammer'sPowerNet System. Each RMS Trip Unit includes anlntegrated Communications Chip that permits theextraction of Trip Unit data and the implementationof Breaker close and trip commands from a remotemaster computer. Communication is accomplishedfrom the Trip Unit to the master computer via radiofrequency signal over a twisted pair communica-tions network. The communications signal(COMM1 and COMM2) are extracted from Trip UnitPlug J3 through the External Harness as shown inFigure 12-10. The Breaker External Harness plugsto the Cell Harness Assembly, which includesprovisions for external wiring connections asshown in Figure 7-1 .
