Password protectiononly locks out changes to device settings. All monitoring anddiagnostics are still available. There are three types ofpassword protection:Local PW—Sets a password that only applies to the userinterface.Admin PW—Sets a password that applies to makingchanges from any source.USB PW—Sets a password that only applies to makingchanges over the USB port.Out-of-box, there is no password protection. When apassword is already set, navigating to these menu itemswill first prompt the user to LOGIN. Once logged in withthe correct password, the user has the option to disablepassword protection, change the password, or simplylog out.C445UM ServicesThe last menu in the PRG section is the Services Menu.From here, users can perform the following actions:Test Trip—Sends a Test Trip, causing the control output toopen.Re-Pair Modules—Re-pairs devices after removing orreplacing a module in the system after it has already beenpowered.Factory Reset—Reboots and resets all values to factorydefault. This will erase any configuration settings and clearany passwords.Soft Reset—Sends a reboot command for the entiresystem.Proof Test—Executes a Test Trip and forces a Watchdogreset. This function is useful for maintenance purposes toconfirm that the contactor opens on a trip and that theinternal Watchdog is functioning.
