Chapter 9—C445 Logic Engine and Expansion I/OPower Xpert C445 Global Motor Management Relay MN042003EN—January 2019 www.eaton.com 207The data for each I/O module is mapped in the order themodules are positioned. For example, the first physicalmodule with digital outputs will have the data mapped tothe first available Digital Output register, 2263. An 8-outputor a 4-output card will be mapped to the low byte of register2263. The next output card will have its data mapped to thehigh byte of register 2263 and so on. The first physicalmodule with digital inputs will have the data mapped to thefirst available Digital Input register, 2255. An 8-input or a4-input card will be mapped to the low byte of register 2255.The next input card will have its data mapped to the highbyte of register 2255 and so on. The data for input and outputcards with 4 points will be mapped to the 4 low bits in thebyte they’re mapped to, leaving the high 4 bits unused.
