8-44 TroubleshootingProblems with NEC EXPRESSBUILDERWhen the server is not booted from the NEC EXPRESSBUILDER DVD, check thefollowing: Did you set the NEC EXPRESSBUILDER during POST and restart the server?→ If you do not set the NEC EXPRESSBUILDER during POST and restart theserver, an error message will appear or the OS will boot. Is BIOS configuration correct?→ The boot device order may be specified with the BIOS SETUP utility of the server.Use the BIOS Setup utility to change the boot device order to boot the systemfrom the optical disk drive first. Is the connected Flash FDD or inserted floppy disk formatted?→ Make sure that the Windows recognizes that the connected Flash FDD or insertedfloppy disk is formatted. If not, format it.
