9-26 Upgrading Your ServerPCI BoardThe server is equipped with five slots for installing PCI boards.IMPORTANT: Any PCI board is easily affected by static electricity. Handle a PCIboard after making your body contact with a metallic frame sectionof the server to discharge the static electricity on your body. Do notmake bare hands contact with terminals and components on the PCIboard. In addition, do not put the PCI board on a desk directly. See"Static Precautions" in this chapter for details of the staticelectricity. The long-sized board (full-length board) can be installed only to thePCI slot #5.
