The everydayprogramming done by system coordinators is described in theModular ICS 7.1 System Coordinator Guide.Some system coordinators need to be able to program moreadvanced settings and functions in order to carry out the day-to-day requests and upkeep of the Norstar. These coordinatorsare usually dedicated communications specialists who workwith large Norstar systems or other telephone systems likePBX or Centrex.By using a special password, a system coordinator can see andchange many, but not all, of the programming settings used byan installer. In this guide, programming that can only bechanged by an installer is marked in the heading. If you areprogramming using the System Coordinator plus password,you will not see these items when you move through themenus. This level of access is documented in the Modular ICS7.1 System Coordinator Guide.1. Enter the System Coordinator plus codes on aprogramming set by pressing≤••Ç؈ÏÈÌ, which is the same as≤••¤flfl‹››.The display shows Password:.2. Enter the System Coordinator plus password.The default password is SCPLUS (727587).The display shows Terminals&Sets ˆ. Three triangularindicators º appear on the vertical display between therows of buttons.3. Place the programming overlay over the buttons pointed toby the indicators º.
