When in TroubleProtective function (Detail of error code)*Over-regenerationloadprotection18 0 Regenerative energy has exceeded thecapacity of regenerative resistor.1) Due to the regenerative energy duringdeceleration caused by a large loadinertia, converter voltage has risen,and the voltage is risen further due tothe lack of capacity of absorbing thisenergy of the regeneration dischargeresistor.2) Regenerative energy has not beenabsorbed in the specified time due to ahigh motor rotational speed.3) Active limit of the external regenerativeresistor has been limited to 10% duty.Caution Install an external protection such as thermal fuse without fail whenyou set up Pr0.16 to 2. Otherwise, regenerative resistor loses theprotection and it may be heated up extremely and may burn out.Check the load factor of the regenerativeresistor from the front panel or via communi-cation.Do not use in the continuous regenerativebrake application.1) Check the running pattern (velocitymonitor). Check the load factor of theregenerative resistor and over-regenerationwarning display. Increase the capacityof the driver and the motor, and loosenthe deceleration time. Use the externalregenerative resistor.2) Check the running pattern (speed monitor).Check the load factor of the regenerativeresistor. Increase the capacity of the driverand the motor, and loosen the decelerationtime. Lower the motor rotational speed.Use an external regenerative resistor.3) Set up Pr0.16 to 2.*Regenerativetransistorerrorprotection18 1 Regenerative driver transistor on theservo driver is defective.Replace the driver.*Encodercommunica-tion discon-nection errorprotection21 0 Communication between the encoderand the driver has been interruptedin certain times, and disconnectiondetecting function has been triggered.Make a wiring connection of the encoder asper the wiring diagram.
