Chapter 4 Settings — [PROJECTOR SETUP] menuENGLISH - 83Brightness control adjustment procedure exampleThis is an example of an adjustment procedure for synchronizing the brightness of eight projectors connected to the network.1) Connect all projectors to the hub using LAN cables. (x page 100)2) Switch on all projectors and start projection.3) Set [MODE] of [BRIGHTNESS CONTROL SETUP] to [OFF], and select [APPLY], and then press the button.4) Set [SUBNET MASK] and [IP ADDRESS] in each projector.f To be able to communicate over the network, set the same value in [SUBNET MASK] for all projectors and set a different value in [IPADDRESS] for each projector.5) Wait for at least 15 minutes after starting projection until the light source brightness stabilizes.6) Set the same value in all items inside the [PICTURE] menu for all projectors.7) Adjust [COLOR MATCHING] to match colors.8) Display the internal test pattern “All white” in all projectors.9) Set [BRIGHTNESS CONTROL GAIN] to 100 % in all projectors.10) Set [BRIGHTNESS CONTROL GAIN] to 90 % in the projector with the least brightness.11) Adjust [BRIGHTNESS CONTROL GAIN] in each projector.f Adjust [BRIGHTNESS CONTROL GAIN] of all the other projectors so that the brightness is matched to the projector of which[BRIGHTNESS CONTROL GAIN] is set to 90 %.12) Set [MODE] of [BRIGHTNESS CONTROL SETUP] to [AUTO], and [LINK] to [GROUP A] in all projectors.13) Select [APPLY] of [BRIGHTNESS CONTROL SETUP] and press the button in all projectors.f Brightness control starts.Notef Brightness is automatically corrected whenever the light source lights up by switching on/off the projector, etc.f When the variation in brightness has increased, or when you replace the light source unit, readjust the brightness control.[SCHEDULE]Set the command execution schedule for each day of the week.Enabling/disabling the schedule function1) Press as to select [SCHEDULE].2) Press qw to switch [SCHEDULE].f The items will switch each time you press the button.[OFF] Disables the schedule function.[ON] Enables the schedule function.
