Chapter 10: Diagnostics160Device DiagnosticsNote: This page is for use by Raritan Field Engineers or when you aredirected by Raritan Technical Support.The Device Diagnostics page downloads diagnostics information fromthe KX II-101-V2 to the client machine. A device diagnostics log can begenerated with or without running an optional diagnostic script providedby Raritan Technical Support. A diagnostics script produces moreinformation for diagnosing problems.Use the following settings: Diagnostics Scripts - Loads a special script provided by RaritanTechnical Support during a critical error debugging session. Thescript is uploaded to the device and executed. Optional Device Diagnostic Log - Downloads a snapshot of diagnosticsmessages from the KX II-101-V2 device to the client. This encryptedfile is then sent to Raritan Technical Support. Only Raritan caninterpret this file.Note: This page is accessible only by users with administrativeprivileges.To run the KX II-101-V2 System diagnostics:1. Choose Diagnostics > Device Diagnostics. The Device Diagnosticspage opens.2. (Optional) Perform the following steps if you have received adiagnostics script file from Raritan Technical Support. Otherwise,skip to step 3.a. Retrieve the diagnostics file supplied by Raritan and unzip asnecessary.b. Click Browse. A Choose File dialog appears.c. Navigate to and select this diagnostics file.d. Click Open.
