Chapter 3: Working with Target Servers53Changing the Maximum Refresh RateIf the video card you are using on the target uses custom software, andyou are accessing the target through the Virtual KVM Client (VKC) orMulti-Platform Client (MPC), you may need to change the maximumrefresh rate of the monitor in order for the refresh rate to take effect onthe target.To adjust the monitor refresh rate:1. In Windows®, select Display Properties > Settings > Advanced toopen the Plug and Play dialog.2. Click on the Monitor tab.3. Set the 'Screen refresh rate'.4. Click OK and then OK again to apply the setting.Mouse OptionsWhen in dual mouse mode, and provided the option is properlyconfigured, the mouse cursors align.In dual mouse mode, when controlling a target server, the RemoteConsole displays two mouse cursors: one belonging to your KX II-101-V2 client workstation, and the other belonging to the target server.You can operate in either single mouse mode or dual mouse mode.When there are two mouse cursors, the device offers several mousemodes: Absolute (Mouse Synchronization) Intelligent (Mouse Mode) Standard (Mouse Mode)When the mouse pointer lies within the KVM Client target server window,mouse movements and clicks are directly transmitted to the connectedtarget server.While in motion, the client mouse pointer slightly leads the target mousepointer due to mouse acceleration settings.On fast LAN connections, you can use single mouse mode, and viewonly the target server's pointer.You can toggle between these two modes (single mouse and dualmouse).
