Inspecting the cable packagesUse this procedure to verify that the cable packages are secured and connectedproperly, not necessarily in any particular order unless stated.NoteActionTightening torques are specified:• For standard tightening torques - Seetightening torque table in chapterReferences.• For non standard tightening torques -See Installation chapter.Recheck all cable clamps that securethe process cable package and protect-ive hose for tightness.1Make sure all cable straps are tightenough to prevent the cable packagefrom moving in any undesired way.2The cable ties should not be too narrow.This may damage the cables/hoses.When securing cables and hoses withcable ties: never overtighten the ties!This may damage the equipment.3Make sure that the cable package hasbeen properly connected at the connec-tion plate at axis 3, as well as at the toolon the robot turning disc.4Make sure all connection points are welltightened and sealed in order to avoidleaks.5Make sure the weight of the cable pack-age is secured to the tool in order toavoid straining the connectors!6100 Product manual - DressPack IRB 57103HAC082052-001 Revision: D© Copyright 2022-2024 ABB.
