3.9 Expected lifetime of the integrated DressPack cable packageGeneralThe expected lifetime of the integrated DressPack cable package is dependent ofthe actual robot cycle. For the robot upper arm (axes 4, 5, and 6) the combinationof the robot axes gives influence on lifetime. Below are recommendations forprogramming given as well as expected lifetime based on long term tests as wellas normal spot welding application cycles.Expected life timeIf the robot cycle is done according to the recommendations above, a lifetime couldbe expected for a normal spot welding cycle in two shift production, as shown inthe table.DressPack cable package LeanID MH / LeanID SW4 yearsDressPack cable package upper arm MH32 yearsDressPack cable package lower arm MH / SWMore than 6 yearsRecommendations for programmingRobot variants IRB 5710-90/2.3 LID, IRB 5710-70/2.7 LID have working rangelimitations implemented in the system parameters in RobotWare. For robot variants IRB 5710-110/2.3, IRB 5710-90/2.7, the movements of axis-5and axis-6 must be programmed in accordance with not damaging the upper armMH3 cable package at the wrist, depending on customer configuration.Product manual - DressPack IRB 5710 1013HAC082052-001 Revision: D© Copyright 2022-2024 ABB.
