It is for the purpose of driving a con-tactor or a motor starter via a programmable logic controller and acquiring thefeedback.The interoperability requirements for these SmartWire-DT modules aredescribed in ￫ Section 13.6, „SWD module interoperability requirements“,page 259.ATTENTIONNo additional auxiliary contact block can be snapped onto thecontactor. The auxiliary switches integrated into the contactorcan be used, for example, as safety locking devices.ATTENTIONIn addition to the basic devices (contactors, motor starter combi-nations, etc.) described in the individual sections, The Smart-Wire Device Technology (SmartWire-DT) function elementslisted in this manual can also be combined with equivalentEaton basic devices that use the Eaton catalog number as partnumber.For a reference table, see the Appendix on Page 258.
