6.6 Operator Programming ErrorsAn Operator Programming Error (oPE) occurs when an inappropriate parameter is set or an individual parameter setting isinappropriate. The drive will not operate until the parameter is set correctly; however, no alarm or fault outputs will occur. If an oPE occurs, investigate the cause and Refer to oPE Codes, Causes, and Possible Solutions on page 144 for the appropriate action.u oPE Codes, Causes, and Possible SolutionsTable 6.9 oPE Codes, Causes, and Possible SolutionsLED Operator Display Error NameoPE01 Drive Capacity Setting FaultDrive capacity and the value set to o2-04 do not match.Cause Possible SolutionsThe drive capacity setting (o2-04) and the actual capacity of the drive are notthe same. Correct the value set to o2-04.LED Operator Display Error NameoPE02 Parameter Range Setting ErrorCause Possible SolutionsParameters were set outside the possible setting range. Set parameters to the proper values.Note: Other errors are given precedence over oPE02 when multiple errors occur at the same time.LED Operator Display Error NameoPE03Multi-Function Input Selection ErrorA contradictory setting is assigned to multi-function contact inputs H1-01to H1-05.Cause Possible Solutions• The same function is assigned to two multi-function inputs.• Excludes “Not used” and “External Fault.”• Ensure all multi-function inputs are assigned to different functions.• Re-enter the multi-function settings to ensure this does not occur. The Up command was set but the Down command was not, or vice versa(settings 10 vs. 11). Correctly set functions that need to be enabled in combination with otherfunctions.Run command for a 2-Wire sequence was set, but forward/reverse commandfor a 2-Wire sequence was not. Correctly set functions that need to be enabled in combination with otherfunctions. The following two functions are set at the same time:• Up/Down Command (10 vs. 11)• Hold Accel/Decel Stop (A) • Check if contradictory settings have been assigned to the multi-functioninput terminals at the same time.• Correct setting errors. One of the following settings is set at the multi-function input terminals:• External Search Command 1 and External Search Command 2 (61 vs. 62)• Fast-Stop N.O. and Fast-Stop N.C.(15 vs. 17)LED Operator Display Error NameoPE05 Run Command/Frequency Reference Source Selection ErrorCause Possible SolutionsFrequency reference is assigned to an option unit (b1-01 = 2 or 3) that is notconnected to the drive. Reconnect the option unit to the drive. The Run command is assigned to serial communication (b1-02 = 2) but nocommunication option is connected to the drive.LED Operator Display Error NameoPE10V/f Data Setting ErrorThe following setting errors have occurred where: E1-04 is greater than orequal to E1-06 is greater than or equal to E1-07 is greater than or equal toE1-09.Cause Possible Solutions— Correct the settings for E1-04, -06, -07 and -09.6.6 Operator Programming Errors144 YASKAWA ELECTRIC SIEP C710606 31B YASKAWA AC Drive – J1000 Technical Manualhttp://nicontrols.com
