YU-01304, 90890-013042.Remove: Piston ringsNOTE:Spread the end gaps apart while at the sametime lifting the piston ring over the top of thepiston crown.CHECKING THE TIMING CHAIN GUIDE1.Check: Exhaust side timing chain guideWear/damage → Replace.CHECKING THE CYLINDER AND PISTON1.Check: Cylinder and piston wallsVertical scratches → Rebore or replace thecylinder and the piston. Cylinder water jacketMineral deposits/rust → Eliminate.
