Oil delivery passagesClogged → Blow out with compressed air.CHECKING THE BEARINGS1.Check: BearingsClean and lubricate, then rotate the innerrace with a finger.Roughness → Replace.ASSEMBLING THE CRANKCASE1.Apply: Sealant (Quick Gasket®) 1(to the mating surfaces of both case halves)2.Install: Dowel pins 2Sealant (Quick Gasket®):P/N. ACC-11001-05-01Yamaha bond No. 1215:P/N. 90890-855053.Fit the left crankcase onto the right case. Taplightly on the case with a soft hammer.CAUTION:Before installing and torquing thecrankcase holding bolts, be sure to checkwhether the transmission is functioningproperly by manually rotating the shift camin both directions.
