6 - 7CARBCARBURETOR If either is worn, replace them both. If both are fine, adjust the float height bybending the float tang 1 on the float. Connect the fuel level gauge 1 to the drainpipe 2. Loosen the drain screw 3. Hold the gauge vertically next to the floatchamber line. Measure the fuel level a with the gauge. If the fuel level is incorrect, adjust the fuellevel. Remove the carburetor. Check the valve seat and needle valve. If either is worn, replace them both. If both are fine, adjust the float level bybending the float tang 4 slightly. Install the carburetor.
