Press the Last Page C button until SAVE DEFAULTS isdisplayed. Now press the Select D button then press the OnlineH button to return the printer online. The font selection for theemulation is saved as the default font, in place each time theemulation is currently in use.Font characteristicsFonts are made up of the following eight characteristics:Orientation Orientation refers to the direction of print on a page. The 4213can print in either portrait or landscape orientation. Printingacross the width of the page is called portrait orientation.Printing across the length of the page is called landscapeorientation. This guide is printed in portrait orientation.Symbol set A symbol set is a unique sub-grouping of all the availablecharacters in a font. For example, Roman-8 and IBM-PC, ECMA-94, ISO 25 are the symbol sets available with the LJ2D emulation.Each symbol set is designed with a specific application in mind.Note: Additionally, if you change to a new symbol set, thecontrol panel font selection returns to the factory default setting.You must re-select your font using the printing menu.
