USING THE 4213 MENUSThis section shows which buttons on the control panel are usedfor accessing the Main Menu, advancing to display the emulation,and, if applicable, selecting emulation configuration options.If necessary, refer to “Control panel,” in chapter 2, “Overview,”for a diagram showing the location of the control panel buttons.Accessing the Main Menu and selecting XESUse the following buttons at the printer control panel:H 1. Press the Online button to take the printer off line. (Thegreen online indicator light is not lit.)A 2. Immediately press and release the Menu button to displaythe first Main Menu heading in the top level menu.Thedisplay reads:MAIN MENUPRINTER LANGUAGEC 3. Press the Last Page button. The display reads:MAIN MENUEMULATIONB 4. Press the Test button. The display reads:EMULATIONXES*C D 5. If XES is not the currently selected emulation, first press theLast Page button until XES is displayed; then, press the Selectbutton to select it. An asterisk appears next to yourselection.Selecting the XES emulation configuration options6.
