CARE AND MAINTENANCEReplacing the toner cartridgeWhen the toner cartridge is nearing the end of its service life, thewarning indicator light is lit and the following message isdisplayed in the message display area when the ConsumablesMenu is accessed:REORDERCARTRIDGE-B 0921You can make up to 2100 more prints after you receive thismessage, depending on area coverage. If print area coverageexceeds approximately 5%, you may experience light images orloss of image before you reach the additional 2100 prints.Note: Keep a spare toner cartridge in stock so you are preparedwhen the present toner cartridge needs replacement.Toner cartridge replacement procedureTable 5-13 lists the cartridge replacement message which appearsin the message display and shows the location of the tonercartridge in the printer. When the fault indicator light is lit andthe message is displayed, the toner cartridge must be replacedbefore the printer will resume operation.Table 5-13.
