The systemexamines the three tables sequentially: first the Other mode, then theLunch mode, and then the Open mode. The system moves across thetables until it finds a match. It skips a blank table.System Mode You can specify that the system operate in a given mode, or set it tooperate automatically. If necessary, you can force the system into aspecific Time of Day Service mode without changing other systemsettings, such as Business Hours. If the system is left in an automaticstate, it constantly compares the current time of day and day of weekwith the business hour tables.PasswordAdministrationThe Password Administration tab enables you to manage NBX passwords.The most common use is to reset a user’s forgotten password.To set system passwords:1 Log on to the NBX NetSet utility using the administrator login ID andpassword.2 Click System Configuration > Password Administration. See the Help forprocedures on changing these types of passwords:■ Change Administrator Password — Resets the password foradministrator access to NBX NetSet.After you change an administrator password, write it down and storeit appropriately. There is no “back door” password to use if thispassword is lost. If you change the default 4-digit password to an8-digit or longer password, you cannot revert to a 4-digit password.■ Reset User Password — Resets the password to a user’s telephoneextension. After you reset the password, instruct the user to change toa new password as soon as possible to ensure system security.■ Auto Attendant Password — Limits access to Auto Attendantsettings and functions.■ System Backup Password — Enables automated backups from anexternal system.■ General Call Data Reporting Password — Limits access to CallDetail Reports, an optional component of the NBX system.
