When leaving TESTMODE, all blockings are removed (except for functions that havetheir block input active), and the IED resumes normal operation. However, if duringTESTMODE operation, power is removed and later restored, the IED will remain inTESTMODE with the same protection functions blocked or unblocked as before thepower was removed. All testing will be done with actually set and configured valueswithin the IED. No settings will be changed, thus mistakes are avoided.Forcing of binary input and output signals is only possible when the IED is in IED testmode.22.3.2 Function block SEMOD54888-4 v5TESTMODEIED_TEST TESTIED_TESTBLOCKNOEVENTINPUTSETTINGIEC61850IEC14000072-1-en.vsdIEC09000219 V2 EN-USFigure 297: TESTMODE function block22.3.3 Signals IP9680-1 v2PID-6730-INPUTSIGNALS v1Table 600:TESTMODE Input signalsName Type Default DescriptionIED_TEST BOOLEAN 0 Activate IED test modePID-6730-OUTPUTSIGNALS v1Table 601:TESTMODE Output signalsName Type DescriptionTEST BOOLEAN In test via IED TEST or via LD0 ModeIED_TEST BOOLEAN IED test mode is activeBLOCK BOOLEAN Active when LD0 is blocked or test blockedNOEVENT BOOLEAN Event disabled during test modeINPUT BOOLEAN IED TEST input is activeSETTING BOOLEAN IED test mode setting is EnabledIEC61850 BOOLEAN Active when LD0 Mode is in Blocked, Test or Testblocked1MRK 511 408-UUS A Section 22Basic IED functionsPhasor measurement unit RES670 2.2 ANSI 777Technical manual
