29-04 Pipe Fill RateRange: Function:0.001ProcessCtrlUnit*[0.001 -999999.999ProcessCtrlUnit]Specifies the fill rate in unitsusing the PI controller. Fillrate units are feedback units. This function is used forfilling up vertical pipesystems, but is active whenthe filling time has expired, until the pipe fill setpoint setin parameter 29-05 FilledSetpoint is reached.29-05 Filled SetpointRange: Function:0ProcessCtrlUnit*[-999999.999 -999999.999ProcessCtrlUnit]Specifies the filledsetpoint at which the pipefill function is disabledand the PID controllertakes control. Thisfunction can be used bothfor horizontal and verticalpipe systems.29-06 No-Flow Disable TimerRange: Function:0 s* [0 - 3600 s]29-07 Filled setpoint delayRange: Function:0 s* [0 - 10 s] Select the delay before the frequency converterconsiders the filled setpoint to be reached if afill rate in units per second is used.3.25.2 29-1* Deragging FunctionThe purpose of the deragging feature is to free the pumpblade of debris in waste water applications so that thepump operates normally.A deragging event is defined as the time when thefrequency converter starts to derag to when the deraggingfinishes. When a derag is started, the frequency converterramps first to a stop and then an off delay expires beforethe first cycle begins.0 Hz/RPMDerag off delay:Par. 29 -15+/- Deragspeed:Par.: 29 -13Par.: 29 -14Deragging run-time : Par . 29-12SpeedDeragfunctionactivated1 CycleNumber of cycles : Par . 29 -10e30bc369.11Illustration 3.112 Derag FunctionIf a derag is triggered from a frequency converter-stoppedstate, the first off delay is skipped. The deragging eventmay consist of several cycles: one cycle consisting of 1pulse in the reverse direction followed by 1 pulse in theforward direction. Deragging is considered finished afterthe specified number of cycles have completed. Morespecifically, on the last pulse (it is always forward) of thelast cycle, the derag is considered finished after thederagging run-time expires (the frequency converter isrunning at derag speed). In between pulses, the frequencyconverter output coasts for a specified off-delay time to letdebris in the pump settle.NOTICEDo not enable deragging if the pump cannot operate inreverse direction. There are 3 different notifications for an ongoingderagging event:• Status in the LCP: Auto Remote Derag.• A bit in the extended status word (bit 23, 80 0000hex).• A digital output can be configured to reflect theactive deragging status.Depending on the application and the purpose of using it,this feature can be used as a preventive or reactivemeasure and can be triggered/started in the followingways:Parameter Description VLT® AQUA Drive FC 202236 Danfoss A/S © 05/2018 All rights reserved.
