Chapter 8—C445UM Monitoring User Interface160 Power Xpert C445 Global Motor Management Relay MN042003EN—October 2016 www.eaton.comThe following table summarizes functions available in each PRG Menu.Table 66. Program Menu GroupsCustomizing Settings in PRG MenuPress OK to view any parameter in the PRG Menu. Editableparameters will show EDIT on the view screen. Select EDIT,use button options to modify, and select SAVE. To cancel anedit, press MODE/BACK instead of saving. There are multipleediting modes:1. Checkbox Options – Checkboxes are used for a groupof options where each item in that category can beturned on or off. A good example of this is Trip Enable inthe Protections Menu. Each trip type (Overvoltage, LowPower, etc) can be individually enabled or disabled soeach offers a check box editing feature. Pressing edit willprovide button options to select a checked or uncheckedbox for each trip type.2. Scrolling Options – If there are multiple, non-numericalsetting options arrow buttons scroll through availablesettings. Select the desired option by simply pressingSAVE.3. Numerical Options – Numerical parameters offer twoediting modes:● Numerical Edit Mode – Provides two arrows toincrement or decrement the entire value. This editingmode is default on pressing EDIT. Pressing andholding arrows will speed up the value changes.● Digit Edit Mode – Use digit mode by pressing andholding the EDIT button. This mode provides individualincrementing for each digit in the string. One arrowkey will increment the digit selected. Incrementing isscrolling—In order to go from 4 to 1 for example, scroll through 9 and it will wrap back to the beginning. The second arrow key moves across digits for editing.Lock Icon:If an editable setting shows a lock icon, it cannot beedited for one of two reasons. First, passwordprotection may be in place. In this case, pressing thelock button will prompt the user to login beforeallowing them to edit. Second, most settings are noteditable while running and will show the lock.Soft Reset After Editing:Changes to the device often require a Soft Resetbefore re-starting. In this case, an inhibit becomesactive in the background (Stopped LED will startblinking). The inhibit screen will prompt the user softreset with RESET button. This prompt will not appearwhile in the PRG menu because the user may want toset multiple items. See Faults and Events section formore information on Inhibit screens.Program (PRG) Menu GroupsGo here to …1. Control 4. Wiring Configuration 7. Protections 11.
