Clear a fault by pressing RESET.A failed reset attempt is indicated by a blinking FAULT LED.This means the reset command was received by the devicebut the fault cannot be cleared because the condition isstill present.The active fault can also always be viewed via PRG R Faultsand Events R Active FaultFigure 168. C445UM Faults and EventsInhibits: An inhibit is a condition that occurs while stoppedthat will prevent starting. This could be a fault condition or aparameter change that requires soft reset or createsconfiguration conflicts.When an inhibit occurs, the stopped LED flashes and anInhibit screen provides the reason. If an Inhibit is due toparameter changes requiring soft reset, the notificationscreen will provide a button to soft reset. If inhibit is due to aconfiguration problem, a button option provides details aboutthe problem.Inhibit notification screens will not appear within the PRGmenu as the user may be changing multiple parameters andwill only want to Soft Reset once. The screen will appear ifthe user takes any of the following actions:1. Returns to the home monitoring screen by pressingMODE/BACK. Pressing MODE/BACK once steps out ofeach menu while pressing and holding will goimmediately back to home.2. Press the START button3. Lets the idle timeout expire with “Return to HomeScreen” enabled in timeout behavior (User InterfaceSettings)
